    • Taxi/Private Transfers: Direct transport to Hotel Bad Schachen takes around 30 minutes.
    • Public Transport: You can take a bus or train to Lindau Bahnhof (Lindau Main Station), and from there, a short taxi ride to the hotel.

Munich Airport (MUC)

    • Train: Take a train from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to Lindau, which typically takes around 2 hours. 
    • Bus or Shuttle Services: Available from Munich to Lindau, offering an economical option.

Arrival by Train

 

Lindau is well-connected by the German rail network. The Lindau Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) is located about 3 km from Hotel Bad Schachen.

Train Options:

  • From Munich or Friedrichshafen: Direct trains to Lindau Hauptbahnhof are available and typically take 2–2.5 hours. 
  • From Zurich: Trains from Zurich to Lindau take about 2 hours and are another convenient option for international travelers. 

Once at Lindau Hauptbahnhof, you can take a taxi or local bus to the hotel, which is a short 10-minute ride.

Arrival by Car

 

If you are driving, Lindau is accessible by the A96 motorway. The hotel offers parking for guests, making it an ideal option for those who prefer to drive directly.

  • From Munich:
    • Take the A96 motorway towards Lindau, which takes approximately 2 hours.
  • From Zurich:
    • Take the A1 and A96 highways, which will bring you to Lindau in about 2 hours.
  • From Friedrichshafen:
    • A quick 30-minute drive via the B31 road takes you to Lindau.
